    アバウト・タイム〜愛おしい時間について〜

    『アバウト・タイム〜愛おしい時間について〜』（アバウトタイム いとおしいじかんについて、原題：About Time）は、2013年のイギリスの恋愛映画。監督は『ラブ・アクチュアリー』のリチャード・カーティスなので今回は楽しみにしていました。基本的にラブロマンスですが、登場する俳優たちのちょっとしたしぐさがコミカルなのはラブ・アクチュアリー同様で、笑ってしまいました。主人公が何回も時間をさかのぼることができるという能力によって、さまざまな恋愛の失敗から再チャレンジするという何ともうらやましくもほほえましいシーンが前半ですが、後半子供が３人生まれて満たされた生活をするようになるとタイムトラベルをする必要がなくなっていく過程が心温まります。そして最後の以下のセリフにつながります。We're all travelling through time together every day of our lives. All we can do is do our best to relish this remarkable ride.
    人生をタイムトラベルと考えた場合、生きとし生けるものに必ず迎えに来る死というゼロ時間を前に、風の音など何気ない日常にできるだけ感謝すべきですね。
    今回の英語に関しては恋愛ものでしかも強烈な英国地方アクセントは皆無ですので聞きやすい部類に入ると思います。
