コッポラの胡蝶の夢

今回コッポラの胡蝶の夢『コッポラの胡蝶の夢』（原題Youth Without Youth）の 主演はティム・ロス。イギリス出身の俳優なので今回の視聴にいたりました。  ウィキによると  2007年のアメリカ・ドイツ・イタリア・フランス・ルーマニア映画である。ミルチャ・エリアーデの小説『若さなき若さ』の映画化作品。フランシス・フォード・コッポラは、10年ぶりに監督を担当したとのこと。
小生この映画２回見ましたが、本当にわからん。いつものように感想をかけないのは今回初めてです。
夢物語なのか現実なのか判然としません。中国の荘子の物語を引用していますが、
