    『裸足の1500マイル』（英: Rabbit-Proof Fence）は、実話に基づいた2002年のオーストラリア映画。

    1931年、西オーストラリア州。政府の政策には、ハーフカースト（白人とアボリジニーのハーフ）の子供たちをアボリジニの母親から強制的に引き離し、"その子供たちをを白人化するため "に、1000マイルも離れた土地に送り込むことが含まれていた。モリー、デイジー、グレースの3人（14歳、10歳、8歳の姉妹と従姉妹）は収容所に到着し、モリーの先導ですぐに脱出する。何日もかけて、ウサギが集落に近づかないようにする柵に沿って北へ歩き、先住民の追跡者と地域の警察から逃れる。彼女たちの追っ手は、政府の「アボリジニー主任保護官」であるA.O.ネヴィルの指示を仰ぐが、ネヴィルはイギリス系キリスト教信者としての確信、進化論的世界観、そして従来の常識にとらわれていた。

    アボリジニーの立場からすると白人を好意的に見ることができない人々が多いのはそのような時代背景があるのではないでしょうか。当時支配者側である白人がアボリジニーを全滅させずに白人に同化政策をとったことは前者と比べてより良い選択であったという意見もあるかもしれないですが、侵略という負の行為のなかで行われる行為はすべて負にはならないのでしょうか。マイナスかけるプラスはマイナスになるのと同様。アメリカが原爆を正当化する行為が日本人にとって受け入れられることができないのと同様です。
