『ファーザー』(The Father)は2020年のイギリス・フランス・アメリカのドラマ映画。主演は映画界を代表する重鎮アンソニー・ホプキンスと同じくオリヴィア・コールマン。 認知症が見え始めた父を介護する娘の話。当方88歳の高齢者が身近にいますので非常に考えさせられました。高齢になると月単位で脳のデフォルトが変わっていくのは人間が年老いていく過程において自然の摂理の一部ですが、どうしても以前と比較してしまいがちです。ありのままを受け入れていくのは経験しないと共感できないのではないのでしょうか。ということで今回はさすがに心に響きました。
