    フランク

    『FRANK -フランク-』（原題:Frank）は2014年にアイルランドとイギリスで公開された。精神的なトラウマをかかえているFrankはいつも被り物をしているが、音楽の才能がある。その一方ひょんなことから彼のバンドに採用された新人の ジョン・バロウズはいたって音楽的に平凡。彼のような凡人が繰り出すメロディーはフランクにかかると即興にもかかわらず並々ならぬメロディーに変えてしまう。フランクは天才肌であるが、凡人に囲まれると並み以下になってしまう。 他のバンドメンバーたちは一癖も二癖もあり、ところどころくすっとさせられる描写があり、この映画結構好きかも。特にお気に入りはドン。マネキンとしか性行為ができなかったドンは以前精神科に通っていた。しかし最近できた生身の彼女には性行為中は動かないようにさせているってところ。なんだか笑うしかなかったです。
    最後フランクが被り物をとってバンドメンバーたちのところに戻っていき、ラブソングを歌うのですが、これがまた天才的なメロディーなんですね。 主人公のジョン・バロウズはバンドメンバーの中で最も 精神的に安定しているのですが、最高のバンドとメロディーには彼の存在が足かせになっていることを最後に気付く。
