今回は2018年の映画『ピーターラビット』の続編。地元TUSTAYAにはなぜか ピーターラビット２しかないのが不思議。舞台はイギリスです。前回立て続けにイングランド北東部を視聴続けたので、今回は息抜きのためレンタルしましたが、 この映画の製作にCGの本場アメリカ資本が入っているので、予想通り、どんちゃん騒ぎのシーンが多く今回は聴覚ではなく視覚が疲労。しかし最近のCGはリアルすぎて私的には不気味の境界線をさまよいつつあります。昔のサンダーバードまでいかないですが、今から約４０年前のETのほうが感情移入できるのは、当時の作り物の不完全さの中にわれわれの想像性によって感動へと昇華しているからではないでしょうか。一方いまのCGのレベルは本物に似せすぎて我々の想像性の入る余地がなく、本物を求めすぎているのに本物ではないことに対する冷めた自分がいる。これがCGに映画としての魅力を感じないのです。
