全開ピーターラビットを酷評してしまいましたが、エンタメとしてみた場合、映画の醍醐味のひとつとして非現実性があると思うのですが、私の求める非現実的世界と違った、ただそれだけだけで映像の完成度は非常に高いですね。今回のミラクルニールも完全なエンタメで、気を抜いて楽しめました。『ミラクル・ニール!』（英: Absolutely Anything）は、2015年にイギリスで製作されました。超高等異星人が地球人を破滅させるかどうか迷っているのですが、１週間だけすべての願いをかなえるパワーをたった一人の地球人にたくし、そのパワーを善に使うのか悪に使うのかで地球人が生きる価値に値するのか判断する設定です。主人公のニールクラークはそのことを知らされていないので、どうでもいい？ようなことに自分の欲望を果たしていきます。スーパーパワーをそんなことに使っちゃうのてきな場面のオンパレードで笑いがじわじわとあとから湧き上がってくるこの感じ結構終始ニタニタしながら楽しみました。同じ超能力をエロ方向に扱った超能力学園という映画がありましたが、それに通じる笑いを感じます。せっかくのスーパーパワーをでせこいことに使う、そのギャップが楽しいですね。主人公の犬を人質にとられ、願いを強制的に次から次へと叶えさせられるのですが、実は願いが４００以上もあったとか。細かい設定が笑えました。ということで今回はおすすめの１本です。
