前回の離婚弁護士のドラマに続き、今回はmistressesつまり愛人がテーマ。2008年のイギリスのドラマです。このドラマは前回のドラマ以上。4人の熟女が主人公なのです。なんだか突っ込みどころ満載なんですけど。まず1分以上セリフがある男性陣とはかならず大人の関係になるので、誰が誰とくっつくかとても分かりやすいストーリー展開。キスにいきなりいたるシーンが多いのですが、会話の際の顔の距離感がまず近すぎ。30センチぐらいしか離れてない。元カノと元カレどうしが友人関係なのですが、怪しいと思ったら、やっぱりキスシーン。しかも高確率で関係者に目撃されるという。しかも熟女4人ともモテまくっています。4人とも有名な女優なので当たり前ですが。このドラマではカノ4人はもう人間ブラックホール。近くづくと、どうしようもできない。男性陣どんどん吸い込まれていきます。特に離婚弁護士役のシャボーン。ギリシャ彫刻のような美貌で、吸い込まれていく男性陣の気持ちが画面越しにもよく伝わってきました。個人的には日本の石田ゆり子さんがあこがれの女優ですが、対極に位置するようなシャボーンもいい。名前がなにせシャボーンだから。まぁ基本的に誰でもいいんですが。シャボーンに、玉砕覚悟で交際を申し込みたいぐらいですが、シリーズ前半の浮気癖がつらいところです。今回のもう一人のお気に入りジェシカに関してはショートカットの時は無双状態で男性や女性ととっかえひっかえでしたが、シリーズ後半結婚して妊娠、守りに入ったところからキャラ的に落ち着いてしまいましたね。彼女は旦那のマークに対して怒った際の声が非常に通っていて、なんだか心に響きました。浮気をした有名人たちは日本の世間でもさんざん言われていますが、白か黒かで批判するのは単純明快です。今回のように浮気をしている側の視点から見てみると納得できる灰色もある気がしてきました。自分も含めて人間は不完全で弱い生き物なので、白い側にいつもいるのはつらいときもありますね。
話が脱線しますが父が生前、日曜のサザエさんの放送を見てマスオさんを褒めまくっていました。人生の不条理なことを経験してきたからこそサザエさんの完全白な世界観に感心していたのかもしれないですね。ということで今回の ”ミストレス 愛人たちの秘密” 世界観完全な黒です。その中、時折見せる白い光は暗闇の中で一層まぶしく見えるところにカタルシスがあり、そこに今回のような不倫ドラマの人気の秘密があるのかも。
